Never really seized the opportunity

After 30 months I had an IM conversation with the girl I was thinking about when I added this entry to my 43 things. During the conversation she brought up the problem with drunk texting (SMS). I have never experienced that problem myself but apparently she had sent a proposition to a boy just the day before and I replied that it perhaps was better to be open about one’s feeling than to keep it to themselves for two and a half years. That was it. I didn’t mention it was her I had feelings for. Maybe she understood, maybe she didn’t, but her reply was: “Maybe it’s time to move on.”.
