own a turtle

when i get a turtle i am so naming it spork!!!

Wants to get me a turtle to keep me company at university, unfortunately I don’t feel as if this would be convient although I would very much wont one.

Turtles are very beautiful animals. and anyone who sed a turtle was slow…never owned one. lol. turtles make great pets =]

Yes, I am considering to get a very nice turtle myself.

I am very impressed that they have such a long live, with other types of pets I suffered very much after losing them.

After reading this interesting article here about the types of turtles I am more unconvinced now then before about what type of turtle I should look for.

I have enough time to look after it so this is not a problem. I would like a somehow nice type but can’t decide yet on one.

I have had 4 turtles… the one I have now has lived probably about 15 years!

I had a turtle named alice cooper.
someone had smuggled him into canada in a matchbox, and i eventually got him when they moved (at which point he was about a foot long)
he was awesome, but he died of unknown causes. he used to eat raw steak and bannanas, because he refused anything else.he wasnt a snapping one so you could hold him and such.

anyway he was AWESOME!
