Attend Stratford Festival

i have decided that as a student and as an artist, that i can offer them something they cannot get without me. im not quite sure what, but i think i can write a proposal to convince them to let me go on the house.

I borrowed this from someone else’s list when I saw it. I have been a few times, and every time I go I love it. Stratford is such a beautiful city, like out of a picturebook. Lots of quaint resturants and beautifull scenery, small shops to meader in and out of. The actors are all top notch, giving it their all to please the audience. They have a few great selections. I think this is a goal I really want to work on. Maybe the end of October I’ll go. Most of my friends are married or busy, so thats another problem…

So I’ve been to the “the-ah-tah” more times than you can shake a stick at. Definitely worth it, so much fun and such incredible work (actors, musicians, designers, etc).

I went twice in high school (trip from Detroit was about 5 hours by bus) and loved it. It was the first time I was exposed to a play being adapted to a modern setting. I really really want to see another performance there, maybe one Shakespeare and one non-Shakespeare on the next trip…
