How to see a baby being born
How I did it: I planted the seed with a friend of mine who was pregnant, giving her every opportunity to decline this chance for me to check something off my "bucket list." "You know, you don't have to say anything now, and you don't ever have to say anything at all. I'll just put it out there and will never bring it up again." I was thrilled that she and her husband opened up this miraculous experience to me. They even gave the baby's middle name after me! Olivia Ruthanne. (That's my screen name ... Livyru!) I was So scared I would pass out or puke or something, but instead was Right There and moved to tears at this lovely new baby.
