Apparently I’m cheap or at least cheaper than another couple who outbid me. Whatevs. Wasn’t meant to be. I have another house in mind so we’ll see in the near future.

How I did it: after a second heartfelt breakup with the man I thought was the love of my life... I went through a period of realizing that i was settling for mediocrity. i prayed to God and asked Him to restore me. i went to visit my pre-marital counselor who was also singleat the time, purchased her first home. her story of how she put her furniture on layway speaking her home into the universe.
a year later after looking at only a few houses, i found one i liked, but not where i wanted. i spoke to the builder and he was building new homes in an area i would consider. on december 31, 2006 i closed on my home. a year after my break-up and to think i was going to settle for less.

Meeting with my realtor tomorrow night to look at about 8 houses. I’m really looking forward to see the insides just so I can get an idea. I really want to make his happen soon but I’m trying not to jump into it.

Uh oh! Seems i might have hit a hiccup but a good hiccup. Trying to figure out if living with my girlfriend is plausable in the upcoming year (5 mos). She works in Stillwater, which is an hour north of OKC and I work in Norman with is 30 minutes south o OKC. We looking at our options and financials to see if we can work somethingout. I hope so.

I got a realtor this week. Two of my friends have used him and recommended him. The guy seems legit. He gave me an extensive lists of houses with the things that I was looking for. I have a few that I have picked out to look at sometime in the near future. Things are taking shape at least.

This is long-term, but I have to quit throwing money away by renting. It’s getting ridiculous!
I’m not too picky with what the home looks like, I just want a decent location with a low crime rate.
