ChristineAreI feels energized after exercising!
it’s been 6 years, and I really want to go again.
Before, I was scared of the ski lift, and bumping into trees, but now that I’m older (and hopefully wiser), I’ll probably enjoy it tons!!
I love snow. :)
After getting injured in a big snowboarding accident, I finally built up the confidence to go again..and I did great! Yay for me! =D
The first day I went snowboarding I HATED it. My body has never been so sore. I was thinking that I should not go back to try again, but I keep hearing to give it at least three days. So I went back and did MUCH better. I can still only go down toeside (every time I try to go heelside, I fall BADLY), but at least I can make it down the bunny slope without wrecking. My next goal will have to be turning to right (I’m goofy) so I can go down heelside – then maybe the ski-lift. We’ll see…
after breaking my arm in vail mid-season last year i am just about dying to get back on my board.
since dancing it is the first sport i have really loved and although last season was my first season and i was admittedly not very good (well shoot, i broke my arm for goodness sake) i absolutely adored it—and i know i was getting better.
i am excited to do more and get back on the slopes!
I’ve only been twice, so I’m definitely not much good at it at this point. Between my lack of skill anyway plus how long ago it was, I’ll probably be starting from scratch next time I go. But I definitely remember what a blast it is. Going to do it again.
Finally got out to Cypress (just outside Vancouver) and it was the best snow of the year. 50 cm of fresh powder. Nice!
Then I bought a board, bindings, boots, helmet and goggles from a guy on Craigslist.com for $200. And he only used it once. Crazy good deal!
