How to buy a caravan
How I did it: I thought about it for a long time (nearly a year) because I was scared of getting into debt for something that would just depreciate daily. However, always going to be poor and will rent it out a little to pay for the site fees and the experience of being near the sea and having a place of solitude and some where to have fun with my children is overwhelming.
So looked on the internet and then went to visit one in a town that I have stayed in before. The site are very friendly and helpful and will do some maintenance that needs doing (for a charge). Got a bank loan, so now have my own caravan.
Next weekend staying without my children, just me and a friend so can relax for hours. Very excited!
Lessons & tips: Look at different caravans
Barter with owner/caravan site
Remember there are lots of things to pay for, e.g. site fees, gas, electric, insurance
Think about what you want from a park, e.g. quite, lively
