How I did it: I saved up for a whole summer! About 3,000 dollars total... but since I am a ministry student my director told me that he didn't want me to spend all of that money on a car but he wanted me to pay off a lot of my school so he found a car from a friend that only cost $800 dollars and talked me into buying that... I have had it for a year and 3 months and it has been a great decision!!!!!!!!

Not want, a car. Getting to work is a daily stressful challenge of walking down the sidewalk-less highway, begging nd bumming for the privilege to pay for the two mile ride, and now paying for an ungodly expense- a taxi! There is no bus on my way to work… and walking there is… unthinkable. There’s a bridge between me and the day care, no sidewalk, no shoulder. Im going to lose my job in the next week or two if I cant do something. I cant lose my job!

I would love to own an Infiniti G37 coupe or a Mercedes-Benz CL 550. Preferable color white…I am going to have to work extra hard to attain that particular goal!

Basically, my grandparents have broken their promises and now, they aren’t giving us the cars (they already own them, they own six cars total). So now, we’re going to have to try and save up as soon as possible, while trying to find a place to live!

being in a country with the most limited modes of transportation is a whole lot of challenges. WELCOME TO DUBAI!
back home in the philippines, we have taxi, buses,FX, MRT, LRT, jeepney,tricycle, pedicabs and the habayhabay.Hey, there are still other modes which i’m not aware of.
but come on, Dubai has only bus and taxi!
my husband and myself were picked up by a choir member to ensure that i get to church to play. we reached early and safe. after the service, unexpectedly, we were ditched.
can’t blame her or anybody. but HEY! its late at night and we were walking. i was really exhausted and wanting to just lay down….
what can we do?! walk…walk walk and more walk….
i told my husband that we’re not waiting for next year for the car. we’re getting by august!

Been with out a car so long that I have no Idea how i am going to get one I am out of work and i need a car to run my small businesses..
not sure what to do ..I live in a city where I am afraid to walk around for fear of criminals and such.. need wheels.. bad..

I think I will look into getting one at home (the cars always seem to be cheaper there) then driving it to school (it’ll also give me more time driving which is always a plus).
