How I did it: I saved up for a whole summer! About 3,000 dollars total... but since I am a ministry student my director told me that he didn't want me to spend all of that money on a car but he wanted me to pay off a lot of my school so he found a car from a friend that only cost $800 dollars and talked me into buying that... I have had it for a year and 3 months and it has been a great decision!!!!!!!!

wants me to purchase this 198-something huge passagner van.
Oh, but is it sweet, lol. All carpet and free standing drink holders, curtained windows, seats that swivel and lay down into a bed.
Pimp shit.
It would be cool for toting the daycare kids around should I so choose but it has some issues with the steering column and whatever other issues come with a twenty something year old car.

i know, we’re suppose to have a car by now. but during our vacation, Gary and I talked it over. Having a car is really easy here in Dubai. But I thought of how many times I’ll be using the car in a month. how many times do I need to drive to Ghusais and other far away places… the answer: not very much!
So the verdict: we’re not getting the car!

No heater in the little car. He said he’d fix it and I could call back in a few days but I have a bad feeling about the car, even if it is cheap I don’t wanna get totally screwed.

to look at a cheap-o car tomorrow. Yay! If it runs and there is nothing seriously wrong with it, I’m taking it.
I still have to take care of license fees and plates, insurance etc but once this goal is out of the way I really feel like I can move forward with a ton of other things.

well move out and then get a new job, use most of wages to pay off debts, but im also re start my driving lessons, if i can afford to do it im also guna try put some money aside for a car, my dream car is a ford capri! but i guess ill see what i can afford and would be available, its guna take a while, but im trying to be more positive now.
