Not exactly teh same as this but... 1 year ago

Last sunday after church was over. I was hanging around our church waiting for my wife to finish with the singing practice she does and a woman came in looking for soem help. She needed $10 to pay off her hotel room. She said she had an 8 year old sone etc…
Against my judgement I gacve her the cash and wished he merry Christmas. The pastor was in conferance with someone else and I did nto know how long it was going to be. I have seen folks do similar things and end up spending money on other things than what they said they needed it for. SHe was so thin! I felt sorry for her and yet I pray she was not going to buy drugs or somthing! I told her I hoped I saw her again and God bless! SO not exactly revers pickpocket but I hope it genuinly made a little differance in her life.
We are so blessed most of us and for a measly $10 can mean so much!

I've thought of an idea 2 years ago

I know if I reverse pickpocket to my family they will know it’s me. I’d like to do this anonymously and to strangers. I figured out a way to do this. I will get small pocket items, and pocket change, and go to the charity thrift stores and fill coats and jackets for sale with these items. I especially want to put stuff in kids clothing. And also, another way would be to leave something in an envelope on someones front windshield, like where a ticket would be left , only this would be a good surprise!

this is more difficult than I thought because 2 years ago

I really can’t get into strangers pockets or purses because they may suspect me of actually stealing instead of putting something in. At this stage I am trying to think of opportunities to reverse pick pocket that I might get, and what I would put in.

Random Acts of Covert Kindness! 2 years ago

Ahh, the joy of sneakiness! I have put little notes in pockets, pretty pencils in people’s backpacks, and money in random purses with stickies that say “have a great day.”

Other fun things to deposit on people are: chapstick (new, of course), gum (new, of course!), smilie stickers, crossword puzzles, and a variety of individually wrapped snack foods.

PS: Sorry, CST, but you did not invent reverse pickpocketing. Parents, grandparents, wives, husbands, and a whole host of nice people who enjoy being sneaky have been anonymously surprising others for centuries! Keep doing it, though! It’s good for you!

Reverse pickpocketing is... 3 years ago

A term I invented. It’s like pickpocketing but instead of taking people’s stuff, you put things in their pockets. For example, ten dollars, oranges, etc. I’ve always had an instinct to see if I can take people’s stuff without their noticing, and I don’t want my talent (because I do have talent) to go to waste!

I’m serious. No, I have not been psychoanalyzed.
