build my own city

i want to buid my city , sincerly and corewct , without coruption . that`s all 4 the mopment

It seems easy enough but there’s always going to be red tape… lots of it. However, thats no problem if you have the cash or investors in the right area to be able to build your own city.

First things first you have to get a location… one that people are going to want to visit/live in. After all if you are going to build a brand new city you probably wont have much industry other than tourism. Also, try to pick an intersection of two concession roads, that way building and servicing roads may not be as big of a deal.

Once you have your location you can start to envision what your city will look like. Come up with a lay out. Ask yourself what will go best in certain spots? For my location (on the water, the prime real estate is going to be right near the water so I would want to save this for houses, cottages, hotels, etc. This may also be a perfect place for a boardwalk or the main drag… decisions decisions.

Now that you have your plan in place (if you dont have alot of money) find investors! You will have to have quite the detailed plan in place. Developers will want to see exactly how people will gravitate toward this one place more than another. Also, figure out what other corporations want to be doing. For example, Port Stanely (a village not to far away from my location) has a company from the States and Denmark that wish to build a ferry from cleveland ohio across the lake. The residents of Port Stanely dont wish to have this. Perhaps after some time you maybe able to sway them further down the shoreline to your proposed site (bringing in major transport to your area, along with industry and tourist dollars $$$$ ).

Once you have investors in place you will need to start construction in order to gain other investment. So, this means you will have to be in cudos with the local government for planning by-laws and zoning changes in order for your dream to succeed.

this is all opinion, non proven fact, more research will be needed as I have not attempted to build a city yet but it is an on-going process I hope to see through before my death
