find my calling in life

Want 2 know why I was born and why I live in this universe and what exacly am I going 2 do with my life.

I’m really beginning to feel that I’m a job hopper coz nothing seems to hold my attention for more than a year. Or maybe the reason is deeper. Maybe I haven’t found something I was really meant to do. I just don’t wanna live with the facade of having a great job and a great life when I feel empty inside…

Well, rent’s about due on this topic. I’ve skipped the post-secondary route and plugged away at a medium-high paying job, with tons of opportunities for advancement, for the past 8 years – to no avail! I’ve finally up and left with no more than I had when I walked in the door. It feels as though I’ve been riding this cruise ship to nowhere and have finally had enough, so I’ve gone and jumped into this strange, enormous ocean, sans life vest….

I have been an admin asst for the last 7 years. I have never felt that it was my dream job. I have just done it because I knew how to do the stuff related. Now I need your help. Some things about me…
I love to be around people, happy nice people.
I love to help people, solving problems, listening, planning, thinking talking.
I have always been told I have strong hands and could make a good massage therapist.
I have also been told I’d make a good nurse, teacher, care giver, nanny, counselor.

I have given a lot of though about not being an admin for the rest of my life but now what?

I live in a huge city with tons of reasourses, just dont know where to turn. I dont want to go through a lot of school because I dont like school very much and cannot afford to not work while going to school. I don’t want to become worn out by juggleing full time wokrk and school.

Please give me ides of jobs/careers that I may like. Thanks

I really don’t know what I want to do with my life. I feel it’s important I do so.

...to figure out what I am supposed to do next. i feel like I’m floating through life aimlessly, and the days are just blurring together. Sometimes, when people ask what I did last week, I honestly have no clue.

We are all waiting for that special something that tells us our place in the universe so that we can be fulfilled and know true happiness.

Well, how long does it take? How can I get to it? What do I need to do to get pointed in the right direction?

Wow, okay. Well, I guess the “5 Year Plan” entry that I was going to do can fit under this category.

I started one a few months ago but need to finish it. Let’s say by September 30, 2006.

There are a few things that I’m considering, but most of them are business-related and I’d like my 5 Year Plan to focus on several aspects of my future in order to help me find my calling.

I am yet to discover fully what are my gifts and how can I dedicate my life to use my gifts to serve others. Nothing more fulfilling than that I guess!

I believe that I have the gift of encouragement; also I have the gift of writing. (although I need spell check!)I write a lot for work since I’m an attorney. I can write well in both English and Spanish.

Somehow I don’t think that law is my ultimate gift. I can do it, but I don’t feel fulfilled doing it. Although some satisfaction comes from doing a good job.

I can’t see myself as working for the poor and needy. Not right now. But the poor and needy are not the only ones that can benefit from what I have to offer.

My friends always say I’m very insightful and give good advice. Too late to start a career as a psychologyst.

I can see myself as being one of those people who talk to big groups and motivates people. I don’t have any problems talking in front of big groups. I can be funny and have a good time doing it.

But first I think that I have to figure out somethings first; so I can talk from experience.

Will people want to listen? More important: Will people benefit for what I have to say?

I’ve been looking at all my interests. I narrowed the choices down to esthetics or (medical esthetician), Physical therapy. What I like about those choices is that it’s everchanging, I like the environment, and the fact that I would be working one on one with clients most of the time. I’m not good with crouds, large groups… seems like it fits, but I still don’t know … Please God help me find it.
