i need a GPS as soon as possible. I’m tired of traffic and need to learn other ways to get out of it so I can get to the places I need to be on time.I want to travel out the city more but, I need a gps instead of a map. I don’t have time to read maps driving, I rather have someone tell me, and it’ll make things a lot easier. I only been driving for 2 years, so I never really drove out of town alot. That’s something I’d like to accomplish.

How I did it: I bought Nokia N82 which has GPS inside. Also with this mobile phone I could use google earth which is my favorite. The good thing I like with this solution is I do not need to carry GPS, digital camera, radio etc together with chargers. So far this works quite well for me. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I did a little bit of research, and spent 2 days looking at different models. I compared the features, and the size of the screen to make a selection. I wanted to get a big screen so that it would be easy to see while I was driving. Another feature that I didn't think of at the time, was the 'voice' of the navigator. I guess that I lucked out with my model, because the voice is ok, but some models have really, really annoying voices which… Read how I did it…

The cellphone I bought has GPS so I wont actually have to buy a GPS. Go figure.

I know I want a wide-screen GPS now. I’m leaning toward the Garmin Nuvi 255W.

I can’t figure out which one to buy. I’m certain I want a Garmin Nuvi but I don’t know which model to get. I’ve researched over and over but it’s a hard decision to make.

I don’t know how many times I’ve gotten lost going to places off of directions my friends give me. Having a way of knowing exactly where I was and where I was going would be fabulous. Especially if I could get restaurants and whatnot off of it.
Its funny how the need grows on you. I suppose I need to at least enjoy life without a GPS (not just yet), now that its still not yet a must have or a necessity?
when i bought my new car last spring i decided against the highest and most expensive tier which, amongst other nifty features, included an in-dash gps system. i had told myself that i would buy a portable gps after i graduated, which seemed like an eternity from then, but here we are, college and graduation now in my past. i woke up saturday morning unusually enthusiastic to start the day, my first full day as a doctor of pharmacy, and i immediately decided that my graduation present to myself would be the gps that i had promised myself over a year ago. i bought the tomtom go 720 and i LOVE it! i used it three times that day to get me to graduation parties. i’m not going to turn this entry into a review but i am extremely satisfied with the device so far and i really don’t even know it’s potential. i know it can store my mp3s and hook up to bluetooth phones, both of which can be used through the cars audio system. although i love technology, i’m not that savy at it, so it has to work out of the box and have big bright pretty buttons for me to be able to use it. fortunately, this device definitely has all that and more. I LOVE IT! and highly recommend getting one for anyone, even if you are great with directions, this device offers so much more! plus, once i move later this year, it is going to be a lifesaver. i cannot imagine moving to any larger city and not having a gps.

i decided to not get the garmin nuvi 350,
because i do not need all the extra bells and whistles.
i wanted to get the garmin nuvi 200w,
but best buy wanted an extra $50 for it compared to the garmin nuvi 200.
and the only difference is a little bit of a wider screen.
so i settled for the 200 for about $200.
so far, it has been very accurate on driving directions.
it was very easy to use from just pulling out of the box.
i’m very excited to use it on my trip to washington!
i feel a lot more confident having it now.

i really need to invest in a gps system for my long distance road trip to washington.
i think i will get a garmin nuvi 350.
i don’t think i will be able to afford to get one until march 14th though.
i will consider it a late bday present to myself. :)
