lay outside and watch for shooting stars

This is the most amazing way to spend a night. The best time is in August (dont know why). You get sucked into the void of blackness that is the night sky and the stars seem to be so bright and when the shooting stars cross the sky its like a blaze of fuzzy light. Its the perfect firework display only better, because it’s not manmade, its solar made.

during the summer my friends and i would always lay outside and watch the stars. we were lucky enough do see tons of shooting stars!! we would wish everytime and most of them really did come true! its amazing

We go into the backyard where there is a bit if a slope, lay down blankets and recline. It is fun to see so many in such a short time.

This weekend theres a big meteor shower so I sat out tonight to watch and saw three shooting stars. Its suppose to be best at around midnight but it got cloudy out so oh well. Its still going on tomorrow night so Ill make sure to watch then too.

I was walking home from work the other night and the sky was really clear, and guess what I saw A shooting star! It doesnt count as laying outside and watching for shooting stars, but I thought I would share…

I realized today was August 12th and knew there was suppose to be a big meteor shower, so I got all excited on my walk home from work becuase the sky is so clear and I get home and look online when the best time to watch it would be and it said 1am to 4am, and then I realized that the shower was during the morning of the 12th, so I missed it, shit. Ill still watch tonight for some though from my porch, hopefully theres a couple stragglers.

I read the other day that there is suppose to be a really big meteor show on August 12th. I will most likely be working pretty late, but hopefully I can see at least a couple shooting stars.

I remember one summer when me and this kid I was dating at the time, and sometimes some of our friends, would always lay out and watch for shooting stars and it was always so much fun espeically with a big group of people. So Im hoping to do it this summer.
