sing a solo in front of an audience

I love singing…it’s probably the one time that I don’t feel self conscious about myself when I’m in front of people singing….how weird is that?

I had an opportunity to do this last year – I sang a small solo with the Oakland East Bay Symphony/Oakland Symphony Chorus in the world premiere of a world called “Trade Routes,” by Guillermo Gallindo. It was terrifying – and also fucking AWESOME! I even got a good review in one of the local papers! I hope to get a chance to do something like this again!
