How I did it: I DON'T really do it actually. My husband got a pretty good job that we FINALLY can afford to have health insurance. I think it's one of the greatest acomplish we've ever come to. Lessons & tips: I don't really have a tips because I think to get a health insurance is always depends on how much money you make (unfortunately!). But the great lesson is one less thing in life to worry about. |

How I did it: Um, I got a job with benifits. I work for a grocey store as a 'regular part-time' (highest you can get without being out oof the front end or being managment). Basically it means I'm entitled to 24 hours a week and part-time level bennifits. And it also means I now can't switch jobs when I want to. I'm stuck there until I'm ready to get another job with benifits. Pre-existing conditions. F*ck. And they claim we have free health care. Just… Read how I did it…

I can’t afford my perscriptions. it’s driving us poor, the cost of my pills. we also both need to see a dentist and my first eye exam in 4 years would be nice to get.
i still can’t understand why eyes and teeth are considered to not be essential by the canadian government

AmeriCorps doesn’t give you much health assistance. The health ‘benefits’ plan paid for the HPV vaccine, but did not provide dental cleanings or any trip to the doctor for pre-existing medical conditions, which was awful. Now, I’m planning on taking a job as an au pair, which again, doesn’t offer much for my health. Can anyone guide me in the right direction to find private health care?

I get insurance, that will be a day to go to the doctor, I guess. Then I think I’ll get this (mole?) removed. I will cap a front tooth that is cracked. I will not go in debt for the rest of my life, if I have to go to an emergency room. It makes me wonder why I work for companies that just give me cash. So what. Cash. Who cares, I got some stupid cash again.
