I’ve been dreaming of remodeling a 68 GTO… I know one day I will.

I m 16 year old & i m planning to make a car with my own expencec no one is gonna help me in my family.
so i wanna know how to make a car as cheap as possible.
And atleast which can attain a speed tof abt 80 Kmph.
I ned a full detail on the things neded and how to build the car,how to cannect the equipments.

I want to restor an old Mini Cooper and fit a KAD engine with a secquential gearbox.Or a Caterham,lotus& style with at least a 2L engine.

My father built a Dutton Phaeton back in the years when kit cars were things you ordered in a box, got a donor car with a decent chassis and did it all yourself. My abiding recollection is of all us bouncing on the chassis trying to get the shell to fit!

Was it worth it? As a teenager not my idea of fun but rather cool driving in it – however as a girl a nightmare to get out as elegant was not the way to describe flinging your leg into the air to get over the door!

I am glad I helped my dad – I won’t really own the ‘I did it’ bit however you always need to have help!
