go without buying groceries for a month

This would have definitely been worth it had I planned better. As it was we wound up spending quite a bit on eating out, probably more than we normally would have. Especially because it was so hot that no one wanted to heat up the kitchen even more by cooking. I’d like to do this again at some point when I’ve planned it out more and made menus and things.

We have so much stuff in our pantry. The fridge is overflowing.

We’ve gone a long time before without buying much of anything and I want to see just how long we can last on what we have. I’m going to allow for milk and bread, possibly 1 or 2 yogurts or fruits or something like that where you can’t stock up on it so much.

I just went to the store this week and got some things, spent less than 40 bucks. I don’t remember when the last time we went shopping was. So I’m going to see if we can get by until June 11th eating nothing except what we already have. Premade food like Pizza Hut and such doesn’t count but I do want us to not buy much. (This is only the boy and I, my mom will need to buy groceries for her work lunches and stuff.)
