    Journaling + Feedback = Therapy 4 years ago

    Having added the goal of “being a better blogger”, I got to thinking about one of the topics I’ve often thought about [blogging about]: the therapeutic value of blogging. Journaling is one therapeutic tool; support groups are another; blogging offers aspects of both (though some comments on blog posts are not always constructive). Actually, 43 Things may be even more therapeutic than other online tools, as it has built-in support for cheering people on with the click of a mouse. Oh, and just to clarify: I don’t mean to imply that therapy is only writing things down and getting feedback … these just happen to be two techniques that are readily available in the online world.
