I have a basic idea of the tattoo I want to get. It will take time to “complete” it though, but I’m not in a hurry.

How I did it: Since my Mum died 10 years ago, when I was young I never really thought about it. Then one day I thought to myself, I don't want to forget. Obviously you can never forget, but I wanted a constant reminder. Since I was under 18 it was tricky trying to find a place that would tattoo me. I went to Reading Festival in August 2008, and lucky a tattoo stall was there. I look old and pretty much everyone is hammered and doesn't really … Read how I did it…

How I did it: I'd had it in my mind for a while that I wanted a tattoo of this design, because I am a Christian and I am also gay, so the rainbow is a powerful symbol for me. In time, the phrase "God has promised" came to me and seemed very right because it has links to both the Biblical, historical meaning of the rainbow and also to my journey in regards to my sexuality.I was due to go to California for the annual conference of the Gay Christian… Read how I did it…

Thais Aux is a Self-Knowing Self-Improving Builder
It’s about time I get rid of the fear of having somehting permanently on my mind. It’s about time I step upand find out what’s important to me, enough to make it into a tattoo. The drawing can even be purely decorative, but it needs a meaning somehow. I shall do it by the end of 2009!
I always wanted to have a tattoo. Don’t know, maybe because I’m kind of an… unsteady person, the thought of something eternal on my body fascinates me.
I’m unsure about the motive though. The one thing I know is I want it to be something that reminds me of my youth. Maybe something I assocciate with my best friend, who kind of runs like a red thread through my life and for whose existence I will be eternally grateful. I think I had and have a happy youth and I always want to cherish that.
NPTguy Rockin the LOA
I have been thinking about the same tattoo for about 10 years now. I just have a hard time justifying the cost. I want a big one.
the only thing keeping me back is I cannot decide what to get. I want it to be small and special I know that much. I have no life relation images like flowers or animals, and I’m past getting skulls and stuff.
Just need to decide, then I’ll do it.
