I always wanted to have a tattoo. Don’t know, maybe because I’m kind of an… unsteady person, the thought of something eternal on my body fascinates me.
I’m unsure about the motive though. The one thing I know is I want it to be something that reminds me of my youth. Maybe something I assocciate with my best friend, who kind of runs like a red thread through my life and for whose existence I will be eternally grateful. I think I had and have a happy youth and I always want to cherish that.

I have been thinking about the same tattoo for about 10 years now. I just have a hard time justifying the cost. I want a big one.

the only thing keeping me back is I cannot decide what to get. I want it to be small and special I know that much. I have no life relation images like flowers or animals, and I’m past getting skulls and stuff.
Just need to decide, then I’ll do it.

..... after I had it done. I thought I was going to die. However, for those who have given birth, it’s just like birth. Hurt’s like hell, but after the pain is over, you’re ready to do it again.

I have 10 tattoos and do not plan on stopping. I love all of them and they are a part of me.

hurt like HELL but it was so worth it!
it is the place I chose, but the good thing is few things hurt this bad :p so I was able to tolerate the next one much better!
it means—art is forever, life is brief.
I have another one now, :D a chest piece I am working on

I love my tattoo and I’ve had it for five years and I’m not bored of it. Think carefully about what you want, where you will have it and imagine yourself in twenty years time with it. If you still are happy with it then go for it! (It feels like your getting sliced with a sharp penknife, so if you have a low pain threshold you may want to take some painkillers beforehand).
