How to take a photograph you can proudly hang on the wall
It made me
pleased
 "I took a close-up photo of a golden eagle."
How I did it: My son and I visited our local regional zoo often, especially to look at the golden eagle there. His name is King, and he is part of their project to help protect the species. One day as we were standing there watching him, he flew straight over to the side of the net where we were standing. I just lifted my tiny pocket camera up to the net and held it steady. then, click... a fanastic close-up of King, as he looked right at us. Lessons & tips: Always have a camera with you. You never kow where and when you'll see the "perfect photo". |

How I did it: I was really into night photography for a while after seeing some cool stuff in a section of one of the National Geographic Art of Photography books. Inspired, I quickly learned through experience to bracket and shoot just after sundown unless there was a large amount of lighting on the building which was the subject of the photo. rewarding things I’ve done. My office is lined with my favorite photos, for all who visit to see. I have also given a few as photo gifts (mugs, etc)
Photography is such a big part of my life. I feel at my best when engaged in anything associated with it.

I’ve got a nice portfolio I’m proud of now and I’m even giving my pictures as gifts this year. My best one is in one of my entries already, but this is another one I’m proud of.

most of the photos in our house are pictures I have taken. I am by no means a photographer, but they mean something to me. to me this is the key.

well, most of the items hanging on our walls are photographs i took in various places in different parts of the world. one room has turned into my “gallery,” where i am showing off pictures i took of people. one of the subjects about which i am passionate is people. hope to make some money off photographing people. can it be a side profession?
