help everyone (or, at least, 43 people) see that PETA is crazy

Peta has another webpage Peta2 which seems to be geared towards the young and skulls full of mush. Here is a little quotation regarding eggs. Brainwashing at its finest.

Eating an egg is the equivalent of rummaging through your sister’s garbage once a month, gathering together all the old tampons and pads, and enjoying your finds sandwiched between a lovely bit of French bread. I am actually all for the kind treatment of animals. I do however believe in eating meat, in the use of animals for testing, in showing dogs, in owning pets, using service animals, and many other things that radical groups have deemed abusive. I think that most people who get involved in PETA do so because they mean well, but dont actually do enough research to know exactly what it is that PETA supports. Know your facts.

I am hoping to have some discussion back and forth. Mature and respectful conversation. Not looking to bash anyone.

Since I cant find any live PETA supporters to talk to, they must not actually exist. Which means, everyone already thinks PETA is crazy!

I should change the title of my goal. I cant get any PETA supporters to talk to me.

I am curious what you think of ALF (Animal Liberation Front) and if you also support that group? I am seriously looking for adult discussion, not trying to bash or argue. I am curious where and or if the line is drawn.

I would be interested in hearing from any of the PETA supporters here who also own a pet, or choose not to own pets. What are your feelings about domestic animals as pets? I am not looking to attack you, I am genuinely interesting in your views on this.
