As a teenager I spent many winter nights outside identifying constellations and enjoying meteor showers. I was especially enamored by the science behind all of it, but the realities of life meant that I was able to devote progressively less time to my hobby and eventually it fell by the wayside altogether. I’m hoping to invest in a decent telescope and make more time for astronomy, one of my all-time great passions in life. 3 years ago

I used to really be into astronomy. I’d read every book I could find on the subject. A lot of them were over my head because of the math and science involved. But I still enjoyed it. The night sky is filled with beauty and I wanted to see all of it. But I let myself get frustrated by all the science and the math and my poor eyesight at the time and the poor equipment I chose. Even if I don’t ever understand the science, I’d like to at least get back into gazing at the stars regularly. It’d be a shame to miss out. 8 years ago
