I think I can say I have done this now 3 years ago

Since I have moved to new york city with only two large bags plus one small one. I still have a few sentimental things back at my parents’ house but I’m going to mark this done now. So yay!

That drawer full of audio cassettes and photos... 3 years ago

I had been putting off going through it to throw stuff out because I couldn’t really open it because it was so full. I forced it open, realised that half of the cassette tapes were copied from CDs I still have to play in the car on long car trips, or in my walkman. I now have a CD player in my car and an ipod, so they are completely redundant, and have no collector kitsch value because they are only copies.

So yeah, I threw them out, along with the photos that were not good enough to make the album. and now the drawer opens with ease, yay :)

It's bound to happen now 3 years ago

In August I’m going to be moving to new york for a year, and all I will be able to take with me will have to fit in just a couple of suitcases. I think I will still store stuff at my parents’ house though lol.

    help me!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 years ago

A few months ago I got rid of the clothes that were ugly, out of fashion, had holes in them, and no longer fitted me. However, I kept the ones that were all of the above except the not fitting me bit. I have a box full of tracksuits, books and other random things I was given when i went to Indonesia in 1995 that hasn’t been opened in about 8 years. It recently got moved to the loft. I have kept all of my assignments from university, and some going back as far as kindergarten.

I guess part of the problem is I still live with my parents, so I haven’t had to lug all this stuff to another house, and feel more justified in keeping it.
