Went to Craven Cottage in Fulham, London to watch Fulham and their three American players play Liverpool. It turned out to be the match that kept Fulham up in the Premier League for next year with Clint Dempsey scoring the only goal in a 1-0 Fulham victory. The atmosphere was great as the Fulham fans knew they must win to secure their spot in next year´s Premiership.

Did this back in 2002, while I was still living in London. I’m not even remotely a football fan (or a sports fan…) but I really enjoyed the experience, despite the fact it was freezing!
Got a ticket for riding the tube outside my zone, learned all sorts of new songs including information about Peter Reed’s head and had the BEST time. Go Newcastle.
