Heh I haven’t even started this seriously and I am already not sure if I actually want to complete this goal. Im afraid that I will screw up my shoulders or something. Even right now the range of motion of my shoulders are pretty bad. Maybe I just need to do more stretching. I can do about 200lbs right now.

That was more weight than my first girlfriend! I finally tried 256 at the gym this morning with my workout partner, Tammy. I had her validate that the weight was right, I didn’t wanna cheat and not do enough or too much. So I did some of my other workout weights first, then I got a wild hair up my butt and tried 256. I did 10 reps at 150, then 10 at 256, then 1.5 at 300 (But I don’t feel like I was totally into that weight and didn’t do enough to check off my list as done) and finished with 10 reps ar 150 again!!! Woo Hoo! Another thing done. I am happy that I did 250 enough times so that I know I was in control. Next: 300! My goal is to do atleast 5 reps at 300. I’ve never been able to lift this much. I try and go to the gym 2-4 times a week… but it’s been hard during the last week or so. I cut out msot of the cardio and concentrate on weights, cardio is fun, but you don’t look bigger when you’re done.. kinda takes the fun outta it. Thanks for reading. . . and now on to bigger and heavier!
I KNOW i can do several sets of 20 reps with 55lbs. (including the bar, wtf?) i just havent tried higher cause i dont wanna pull anything. I bet i could bench at least 100lbs. (I weigh 136lbs)
i’ll put on our max. weight we have on the bench & see if i can lift it (Its 62lbs without the bar, 77 with). Then i’ll have to buy new weight addons? that the right word?
That’s about 1.5 times my ideal weight. That’s what some experts say a man should be able to bench press.
Have not benched for about a year but doing lots of pushups everyday seems to keep me at 225 max for one rep when I periodically test myself. Will need to start a benching routine to have a hope at 250.
I started lifting weights again around August 2003. (Since then I have lost 45lb!!!) Today I can bench 140lb and expect to be able to lift about 180-200 by summer.
