the fruits are easier 3 years ago

yesterday i ate a mango and pear for breakfast



i have yet to 3 years ago

eat any fruits or veggies today…
unless you count the raisins in my Raisin Bran…

hmmm…....................

considering they were not of the sugar-coated variety, I am inclined to count them

i do have two shiny apples staring me in the face. I bought them earlier in the day as I was walking home through a rainstorm.

and, i have the remaining half of the cellophane-wrapped delicious yellow bell pepper patiently waiting in the fridge for me to come by and decide to finish consuming it…

Am realizing that i’m just so childish about veggies and fruits… getting myself to eat them is as bad as coaxing a child.

not only did i eat Watermelon, i also ate a tasty yellow bell pepper (with cheese, crackers and bruschetta, for lunch) and also a veggie stirfry for dinner…

i am instead eating ::shudder:: milkshakes.

chocolate ones.

why?

no fruits eaten today but 3 years ago

I did have my litfest meeting at a veggie restaurant…

there were some veggies in the hot and sour soup, tho not that many in the main dish, which was tofu and pecans (i know, strange, but yum) I made myself eat all the soup though it did taste a tad “healthy”



well 3 years ago

i haven’t eaten any of either yet today.

but have ordered dinner delivered (i Never do this… but just not feeling so great right now – cramps) and with it a
Tossed Green Salad.



I'm one of those 3 years ago

vegetarians who can go days without eating a vegetable. It’s not that I hate them. Just that I’m oblivious, and not naturally drawn to veggies like the way I am to bready-products. (Weetabix comes to mind… :) )

but.

now is a great time to change this. I won’t expect myself to do a 180 right away, but I do want to, at least for now, make a conscious effort to include veggies, fruits (which are easier, anyway) and water too, on a daily basis.
