to make their blog just a little cooler is to put a get firefox button somewhere on it.

wow have the last few days been crazy for comment spam. my blog still doesn’t really look ‘cool,’ but i am wondering if that is okay.

i am bit of a minimalist anyway, so maybe the default theme along with some siedbar widgets is alright for me anyway.

that being said, i am sooooo glad i got off of typepad and started using wordpress on my own domain.

so, thanks to advice here on 43t, i took the plunge, registered a domain, signed up with a hosting service, installed wordpress and am now off an running with my blog, free of typepad (http://thearcoftime.com).

so now i want to really learn how to make it look cool. some of the things i want to figure out;

1. how to edit the content of the sidebar
2. how to upload my own header image
3. how to make ‘categories’ into ‘tags.’

any advice on any of these would be helpful, but i’m also going to be doing a lot of reading :-)
