Tomorrow will be this goal day. 1 month ago

Even if I’m not able to change how I’m thinking or feeling – the plan is to notice it (did you hear me brain? – I will be full of focus tomorrow). And, because I seem to so easily forget to pay attention, I will carry a reminder with me.
I am tired of being blind – or pretending to be because, let’s face it, I’m not.

I think I have made a huge "dent" in this goal 18 months ago

And it is time to mark it as complete, even though it will always be a part of how I choose to live my life – to be aware that my attitude touches not just me, but all of those who come into contact with me, and in turn, possibly others as well, like the ripple effect of throwing a pebble into a lake.

Good luck to everyone who seeks to change their life into a more positive experience!

Today was tough... 22 months ago

I was paying my bills and although I am glad that I have a great job I still and paycheck to paycheck. It is frusterating at times and can really affect my attitude. I conciously made and effort today to take the time as a positive and look at how far I have come in my overall life in the past year. The debt is still there but I have my life back after my divorce. I finally feel like my apt is my home and I enjoy being here. So today I was able to check myself before my attitude got out of control. I think you need to notice the warning flags and change your mental state before it is completely negative…today was a good day…=)

I'll never be the same! 2 years ago

Now that I truly comprehend the power of positive thinking, I have a entirely different outlook. I cannot imagine full regression, even in the wake of tragedy. I have evolved!

Had to wrestle my crappy attitude to the ground many times yesterday before it yelled uncle. Fear is a sucky piece of crap! I reject it! You hear me fear??? I stick my tongue out at you!
The result is that today I am experiencing more prolonged periods of calm than I have in a while (take that!).

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.
