I have a tendancy to be too honest. I tell everybody everything up front. By that I mean that I tell new guys that I have been seeing someone and how I feel about that stupid someone. (I don’t actually say stupid) I also tell them that I am SINGLE and free to do whatever I want to do. (You see any rings on these fingers?)

Now as for the stupid someone, I told him that I date other people. I’ve gone out with at least two others but nothing has materialized. (I didn’t tell stupid these details, I just told him that I’ve been out) However, he seems to think that he’s the only one.

Oh yeah, he came over last night. When he came, I was on the phone with one the newbies, and I stayed on the phone. The newbie knew that my so-called man was over while we chatted. My so-called man didn’t seem to have a problem with it though. I’m a bold little chick.

While going through whatever the hell I’m going through with him, I have decided to date other people. I’ve been out with two other guys and stood up two more in the process.

He knows I’m doing this and says he doesn’t want anybody else to have me. Well, I say, “If you really want me, then ACK like it!” Otherwise, I really am dating others who ask.

Why would anyone want to do this anyway?

I’ve found that when one relationship is over, I need that alone time to myself. Personally, it’s a good time to reflect and do some serious self-assessment. I find that if I reflect on the relationship, what I did right, what I did wrong, it helps me to grow. Don’t want to make the same mistakes again you know.
