This is definitely something I hope I can achieve in my lifetime… Even if it never happens, it is something worth aspiring to.

...that they are usually persecuted. Scientific advancement was slowed because of the church. The people persecuted the person who thought the world was round because it “went against god.” People are afraid of drastic change. Also, if the change changes the cashflow of major corporations (i.e. new technology for cars), I don’t doubt that a major corporation would do everything in their power to stop the people behind the change. Even though it will help our planet and our people, original thinkers are always the ones who are the ones who are coined as “stupid.” Little do the people who persecute original thinkers know, it is them who are the stupid ones.

You know a lot of people feel like what they do in life and the way they go about things is so original, but in fact it is truly hard to think of an original idea. Newton didn’t discover the idea of gravity, he just explained a known concept. So is the thought “There is nothing new under the sun” True? What do you think?
