survive the craziness that is my family

My kids grandmother just shared with me a very very hurtful experience from her childhood. There’s not enough words to go into it right now except I will say it’s opened my eyes even more to why she is the way she is.

Thanks to my sobriety i mended my personal bridge with her a while ago now and we are closer as each day passes. Anyway only god has all power to help her and i am but an instrument. I wish i could give her all that aa has given me to overcome my childhood hurts.

I’ll leave it in his hands and let his wisdom work through in his time and in his way.

We do what we know. Instead of wasting my energy on the negative why not be part of the solution instead of the problem.

I must remind myself i can always improve myself too.

I am already crazy..but in a good way!

you don’t notice the craziness so much… I’ve learned this since my mom died… My family seems pretty normal to me now… And I always thought we were so strange…
