Start writing music again

I switched to a mac… and cannot find a good software program to write multi-track songs with a good playback.
I used to use cakewalk.

It helps to listen to a bunch of inspiring music all at once, sit on it, then write your own.

I sat down at the piano and started to make up some tunes to some words…didn’t get as far as writing it though!

The only problem is I don’t know if it’s someone else’s that I’m half-remembering…
