all the time. Who ever sets the table for dinner gets to pick which plates and glasses we use. My daughter loves switching from one pattern on china to the other, then to the polish pottery. I didn’t always do this, but then I went to a friends house and we were grilling burgers and hotdogs. When she set the table she put out her good china and crystal glasses, I commented on the fancy dishes “just for burgers and dogs” and she said that she’s going to use them while she can enjoy them, because if something happens to her, god forbid, the next wife won’t care about them. And she was/is right! so now I use all my dishes. Everyday guest always feel special when you hand them a crystal glass or a fancy china dish!
