I saw one fly over my house 1 month ago

The other day I was mad about something and I stepped outside for a breath of fresh air and to my surprise there was a bright colorful amazing hot air balloon floating right above my house. Wow! That was enough to make me forget what I was upset about.
And I still one day would like to be inside that balloon! I can’t wait.

When I took my daughter to Lake George we wanted to ride in a hot air balloon so bad, but it was way too expansive after all the money I had already spent on the trip. So I promised her that the next time we went we were definitly going to do it!

This was definitely worth it! It was so cool to experience the gliding rise and lowering of the balloon. I did have a panic attack since I am afraid of heights, but was proud that I did go up 50 ft in the balloon. I luckily only did a tethered 50 ft, 15 min. ride. So, it wasn’t too bad to over come the panic attack. Afterwords, I would do it again. Hopefully, after a few times, I would be ok with doing a full fledged balloon ride of over 100+ ft. I was glad it helped me face my fear of heights in a controlled fashion.

I loved it, I loved it, I loved it!!! 4 months ago

It was … awesome! breathtaking! inspiring! unforgettable! The day was a little overcast, but at the same time, there were plenty of streaks of Hallelujah-style light from the blue sky beyond.

Most of the time there was hardly even a sense of movement. Up in the sky in a little basket, a person wouldn’t really want high winds, but I imagined and think I would have liked more of a sense of actual flight.

At one point, during the couple of hours, we’floated’ out by the airport. It was both strange and fabulous to watch planes take flight from that height.

Landing is interesting and unpredictable. Three attempts … then perfect! We glided to the ground and got our champagne!

Take a hot air balloon flight. It’s a kind of ‘low-tech’ magic in a high stress time. You’ll love it too!
