ride in a hot air balloon

Make the call SOON to book our trip!!! Grrrr….I would say today after work, but i’m here til 7:30 tonight and I don’t have the number with me. So tomorrow I shall bring the number to work with me or give them a call after work. :)

I want to do this by this time next year (preferably sooner, of course). My personal deadline will be May 5, 2009. This is an experience I’d love to have!

Of course, the $ factor always weighs in. We’ll see what can be done about that. Maybe I can get a part-time job with a hot air balloon company?! Why not? Stranger things have happened!

I saw a hot air balloon in the sky the other day and it reminded me of this goal. I really really want to do this, but why does it have to be so expensive… :-/

I don’t think there are hot air balloons in Hawaii. I’m not for sure on this, but have a strong feeling they are not here.
Although it would be great, it might also be kind of scary since I live on a big rock in the middle of the Pacific ocean…wonder where we’d land. My island having an active volcano doesn’t sound too appealing for floating around in a balloon, controled by hot air. But maybe another island wouldn’t be so bad….another island that has huge cliffs and caves…hmm…?? Yah, maybe I’ll need to wait to get to the mainland. Although, if you show me an air balloon in Hawaii…I will definitely want to ride in it!

Hot air balloons float above my house several mornings a week. It’s so cool. For the longest time, I couldn’t figure out what the sound was when I would let my dog out, then I realized they were adjusting the air!

The fact that there are places right down the street where the balloons lift off from makes me want to do it all the more. Now I just have to pick a day, put aside the money and go! Up, up and AWAY… It will be so beautiful.

This is just taking up room on my 43things. A lot of my goals are…ones that I know I won’t be able to accomplish until later in life. So even though it says I have given up, I’m really not. I’m just putting it off until I’ll have a chance to consider it. There aren’t many hot air balloon riding opportunities around here anyway.

Very beautiful to be floating around, no noise and a beautiful sight!!
If you are ever in the position to have this experience, I would definitely recommend you to grab your chance.

Will get done this Spring and/or Summer. For one thing…because it HAS to be done! It was my Dad’s big birthday present and something we’ve both always wanted to do and for two…its going to expire this Fall!!! Uh-oh!!!

So we’re going to check out the different places you can take off from and see what is the most scenic. And then we shall wait for warmer weather and head out!! :)
