Ok I just really I sound like a freack. Oh dear.
Well I love cows there so cute and useful. Without cows there would be no milky coffee, no milky tea, no milkshakes, no milky chocolate, no white chocolate no cheese, no yogharts!
(except using goats milk instead)
By the way, Im not gonna use it for meat, use milking machines, or make leather out of its skin. I support peta and I’m a vegitarian. My cow will be free range and will like happily and drug free untill it dies naturally.
I love owning cows. Especially feeding them. Calving season is definitely the best, with the exception of the whole “calving” process.
I thought i was the only one as well!!!! Everyone laughs at me when I say I want a cow and that they are my fav. animal ever! HOw can you not love them! They are so innocent and they have those adorable long lashes! Cows Rule! I’m with you guys!!!
I thought I was the only one. Everyone always laughs at me when I say I want one. COWS RULE!
I totally want a cow!! A holstein (black and white) or miniature cows!! I once lived next to a cow farm of some sorts for the summer in texas! We would moo and they would stampede to the edge of the property close to the fences! we would feed them gourds and such. I don’t know why they’d always come when we called ‘em!! It was heaven!!! :o) I guess I should find some sort of mountain man, so that we can own cows together!! :o) I’m not a strict veg… and the cows I own would be pets only!! But I sooo want a cow!! And little pygmy goats too!!! :o)
The first one was given to me by my uncle who has a farm in Missouri. We stayed with him when my brother was graduating from basic training. I was about 8 years old then…I named her Cuddles. I haven’t seen her since then, but my uncle said she has had a few calfs…
The second one didn’t have a name, so I just called ‘baby moo cow’. My dad bought it with the intentions of eating it (that’s when I seriously started thinking about giving up red meat). I would go every day and bottle feed it, and it would follow me around like a puppy. Our neighbor said that we could let it graze in his field too, so dad did. Big mistake. The cow found some cherry trees (which are poisonous to cows) to munch on. When I came home from school one day, I could tell there was something wrong with it. I honestly don’t know if it just died, or if my dad killed the poor thing. I was too upset, and I didn’t want to hear about it…
So anyway, in my experience with it, it hasn’t been worth it. And I’m not the kind of person who would like to have to raise animals and then slaughter them for food…(so thankful for our modern conveniences!) Maybe if they were dairy cows it would be different.
Oh my lord do you guys seriously want to own a cow cause i thought i would be the only one!
