take ball-room dance lessons

I’m always inspired to try this when I see ballroom dancing in the movies. We have 2 local instructors. One is through the college and has a stricter schedule. Another instructor has flexible hours, but costs more. Maybe one day when I don’t have so much on my plate, I’ll give it a try. I have a tux, that’s a start!

Okay, not baseball, but ballroom. East Coast Swing to be exact.
The basics are easy enough to pick up, but I chickened out on the first lesson night and left when they hit the hard stuff. I’ve been back five times so far and even stayed for the after lesson dance last time! Not having a partner to go with is definitely making it harder to learn as I don’t get to practice outside of the classes at all.
