backpack the world

At some point in my life, hopefully soon, I’d like to travel the world. I’ve always been on a spiritual quest to better understand life and existence.

I have always been a surprisingly outgoing, carefree, all-loving individual, though my image is seemingly less inviting than most. The town I live in is full of people who are immensely biased and have no real clue what the world is and that is what keeps me, and has kept me for the past 17 years, sheltered and unknowing of the world that lies before me. In my early years I had no sense of self, but once I hit the age of 9 or so I took a strong interest in several different things, the main one being culture. Since then I have kept deepening my knowledge on other cultures and ideaologies.

I declared a life goal at around the age of 12, i claimed that i would travel the world and take in the cultures and learn more and more no matter what. I have been refining that goal for many a year now, I have incorporated several of my greatest interests within this goal. I have decided to write several books on my travels and also include photography along with my all time favorite hobby cooking. I know the road will be a difficult one with many ups and downs, but there is so much that comes from it, like wisdom, understanding, and vast knowledge, things much important than any material object ever could be.

Money, technology, marketing, everything in todays pop culture only serves to dissipate what bond we have left with our world, and lets us lose what understanding and wisdom of life is left. I shall not let myself fall victim to that, i shall travel and share the knowledge and culture i absorb with everyone, albeit more of personal experience.
