Our metabolism is faster in the morning and slows throughout the day. So the more you do or eat in the first half of the day, the quicker your metabolism will work and be able to burn what you eat.

By getting up earlier- the moment you wake your body will start to burn fuel/fat and so by the end of the day will have worked for longer (and in the peak metabolism point of the morning). It’s true: breakfast is really the most important meal of the day! If you skip it, then you delay kick starting your metabolism for that day.

Going for regular runs and exercise. Morning runs on an empty stomach will kick start your metabolism in the best way, plus your body will start to burn fat for fuel, as there’s no stored fuel from food to burn for energy.

Eat smaller meals and snack throughout the day (an average five times). Each time we eat our body burns the same amount of calories. So the more smaller portions you eat, the more times your body will burn the same amount of calories and speed up your metabolism, and help you lose/maintian weight by countering your intake of calories.

All of these will work best within a set routine otherwise as you start to skip parts and get lazy, your body/metabolism will respond and get lazy also.
