How to geocache
It made me
slightly confused 
"fun, silly, and slightly confusing"
How I did it: I put some stickers in a film canister along with a note. When I reached a place where I wanted to hide the little treasure I turned on the GPS and recorded my coordinates. Then my sister (apparently) recorded our location on a geocacheing website. Nothing has happened since .... is something supposed to?
Lessons & tips: don't lose the piece of paper where you record the geocache's utm while on your roadtrip. (luckily we found it again)

Well, without my usual companion and chief navigator, at least. My first semi-solo trip, and a successful one, too!
There are plans to place a geocache around here in the works. I am excited.

I’ve placed my geocache and recorded the coordinates – problem is I don’t remember where the paper is that I wrote the coordinates down on. Time to clean out the car …

I logged my first geocache find and my first benchmark find today. I ended up taking a nice 5.5 mile hike to swing past these coordinates. Great activity!

This is one of the greatest things! It is always so much fun and you get to see so many new things you didn’t even know existed so close to you.

I have been geocaching for right at a year now. I have only found 94 so far, but for 300 of those days, I did not get to go out due to neck and hand surgery. I am back to it now and having fun again, though. My son loves it!

My dad received a GPS for christmas so we were supposed to do this on my friend’s birthday about a month ago but never did. All of us have been kept pretty busy with little spare time but I hope to do this on a nice day soon.
