Extend My Vocabulary

I am sixteen years old, and i am latin american. I’ve been studying in a bilingual school all my life, but i just can’t seem to learn new words!
I want to learn new sophisticated words, I also want to be able to use them in a daily basis.

Since I learn more effectively when I write things over and over again, I want to try a new approach. Pick one word a day from the dictionary and write the ink out of it.

I love to read, but sometimes I don’t recognize alot of the words that I come across. I’m trying to learn new words and learn how to use them in my daily routine. I think its kind of hard to hold a intellectual conversation with absolutely no vocab.

The English language is so beautiful but only half utilised. I love learning new words and making them a part of regular conversation. For example: what a beautiful word is ‘sagacious’? But how many people use it?...
