Give Blood More Often

I finally got to the blood bank after procrastinating for 2 months. I feel so good about doing this for so long and helping someone who is is need.I plan to go every 6 weeks and the next time i will be allowed to give is on my birthday. How cool is that !!! I get to give someone the gift of life on the day I was born.

I’ve given blood almost every time I can and I will continue to do so.

I don’t give blood as often as I could.. it’s far too easy to find an excuse not too.. such as I’m tired, not feeling well enough, working too late, have to be somewhere else…BUT I must not make these excuses.. It’s a very simple painfree (almost) procedure and the best part is the nibbles you get afterwards :)

I’m gonna give blood tommorow, wahey! Im so nervous…..

Going to college makes it a little difficult, because I’m in different states at different times, and giving blood during finals week is a bad idea (I’ve done that … Not Worth It, says I. Especially not directly before dance class, heh). But trying to do it as often as possible is definately a great feeling. Plus, depending on where you donate, free shirt!
