Worth doing? Really?
I sunburnt my legs when I was in the Galapagos by sitting outside for half an hour on a cloudy day. I spent the rest of the trip trying not to touch my legs as they swelled up. It kept me up at night and was still red and painful for a week afterwards. Not only am I more likely to get skin cancer now, that same patch of skin is itchy and flaky as all get out. A few visits to the dermatologist have straightened it out, but I could have avoided the whole thing so easily…

This is one of the stupider things I’ve done. I lied out on the beach a few years ago without sunscreen and my whole body was red and achy and after a few days peeling. It was so gross! I probably dramatically increased my chances of getting skin cancer and the rate at which my skin will look aged.

Had a lovely day at the beach. Lots of swimming in the sea, jumping of the dunes, just having fun. When I first got there slapped on the facor 25 all over my arms, chest, back and face. Can you spot my mistake? I didn’t spap it on my legs. Now I have sunburnt kness!
