visit the set of a tv show

My brother and I visited the set of the tv show Everwood back in 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They treated us like we were a part of the crew! We had our own director style chairs and they gave us headphones so we could listen in on what the crew members were saying to eachother. Thank goodness Gregory Smith and Emily Van Kamp had scenes that day. They were really nice! Unfortunately, Treat Williams (Dr. Brown), Vivien Cardone (Delia) and Chris Pratt (Bright) weren’t on set that day. On our way back to the hotel they called us and asked us to be extras on the show the next morning! Of course we said yes! We had to play husband and wife and we had to pretend we were asking for directions from the bellhop. It was hard not to laugh because we were way in the background and our lips were moving but we weren’t really saying anything. Unfortunately, our scene got cut but it was still worth every minute of it!

I went to the set of Coronation Street when I was at school. It’s tiny! Very exciting, especially the Rovers.
