Well, I never specified which business I wanted to build. Haha, I had meant my equine and canine massage therapy business, but I recently started selling jewelry and I just got invited to an Art Festival to sell my pieces there! If this art fest turns out a success, I will count this goal complete. I would love to build up any of my businesses, jewelry included! If I could support myself of my massage business, jewelry business and web design/copywriting/social media marketing business- I’d be one happy camper. 19 months ago

decided to re-open this goal and try and work towards this again. i have written previous entries about it in the past.

Basically work independently ideally as a sales agent/rep i dont really want to work for someone else but wont rule it out. but yeah i wanna do this as my own boss, as my own company. see repeated entry below.

im thinking along the lines of working as a sales agent/rep for ideally companys that manufacture ideally/mainly natural body and beauty/personal care products as i have worked in sales in that previously and enjoyed it. i do not however mean anything like avon or forever living type products or those kind of organisations… i am not interested in that or in having parties in peoples homes to sell single products… i mean selling to various retailers on behalf of the company/building their customer base on a commision basis and possibly with a basic sallary. it will depend if i choose to work as a independant agent as my own boss or not. if i do this… i would prob ask to work part time at my waitressing job or nights only or some kind of arrangement like that in the beginning… whilst i try and build up a customer base…

if i cant become a sales rep for beauty type companies… then i will look at other companies that manufacture other products unrelated to beauty at all.

i will be buying the local jobs newspaper as well as checking online.

also i will be looking at other types of jobs in general but ideally would like to work as a sales rep…

have wanted to do this in the past previously but decided not to. now i have decided i will try and go for this again.

i have already one company that i discovered, who make lovely natural bodycare products… boddy butters and what not etc… that i hope to contact randomly out of the blue to offer my services… and will look into other places and see whats out there..

i also found another company in a online job site… that are looking for sales reps for their various first aid kits that they manufacture as well as they have lots of new products and also do things like health and safety materials/signage etc so will apply for that too… see what happens. 22 months ago
