now i’ve developed two rolls of film. they came out okay. i have to scan the photos now. i was doing it yesterday and photoshop unexpectedly closed and i lost everything. hadn’t saved.
some were pretty dark. and others were too moved. but at least a few were decent.
i installed photoshop lightroom to play a litte.

Developing negatives and seeing your pictures appear in the developer is awesome.

Black and White is easy, color is very difficult. You’ll need to buy about $40 worth of equipment and chemicals to develop film. To make your own prints, you will need some more equipment which can range into $$$.

I love digital photos for the ease, but there's nothing like developing and printing your own B&W 4 years ago

The smell of the chemicals, the magic as the images slowly materialize, emerging the cave of the dark room. It’s totally worth doing. If you are in a big city, renting a dark room is usually less than $15 hour. Do it!
