My son is 6 months old now. I want to feed him for 2 years ideally but 1 year is my first goal. We had lots of initial difficulty in the first 4 weeks, but now it is wonderful. I’m so glad I stuck with it.

I would like to give my child breastmilk as long as my body is able and he still needs it. One year is my first goal. If I surpass that awesome but I’m going for at least one year. The AAP reccomends 1 year, The WHO reccomends two, but one step at a time you know? Little man will be 4 months old tomorrow! Pumping and working is a drag but it’s all worth it to see that milky little smile at the end of the day.
She’s 11 months now. I’m still pumping. I went through a rough patch of supply issues because she was wanting milk every two hours. I had to supplement with formula a couple of times, but we made it through.
She’s finally starting to take solids more frequently now. She usually just eats whatever we are eating because she never really liked pureed baby foods too much. I’m considering still giving her breast milk past a year, but I’m not sure yet.

I had to stop breastfeeding. With work and school and my toddler and the house, trying to pump was just too much. We made it about 15 weeks, not nearly as long as I had hoped but better than nothing, right?

i have been getting busier and busier and its becoming harder to stay this one, especially with how hot its been, its just easier when we are out and about to make a bottle…. i have only done it a few times but i feel myself slipping away from this goal slowly….

We have made it to the 6 week mark which is good but it feels like we may already be facing a problem. My daughter is going through a growth spurt and its seems “leftie” can’t keep up. Its definitely obnoxious so I have started various methods of kicking it into gear. Hopefully we pull through, lol. I’m sure it will pass.
It’s been seven months. We never figured out the latch on issues but she gets breast milk through a bottle. We are slowly starting to introduce solids, she doesn’t seem too interested though and hasn’t mastered eating with a spoon and not pushing the food out.

The baby told me what he thought about stopping breastfeeding at 1 year. Last night, I was standing by his crib he grabbed my boob pulled it down, moved my bra out of the way and latched on.
It’ll be a year in 2 weeks and 3 days

I breastfed my son for about 6 months. I want to breastfeed my daughter for 12 months if possible. Its going to be hard because I will be going back to work and will have to pump mainly but I think I can do it!

3/4 of the way there. I almost killed my supply because I didn’t know menthol did that. I was using Ricola cough drops, which also contain sage and peppermint. Baby just started sucking harder (ow) and staying latched on constantly.
