april 14: after a horrible commute i finally made it to london for a kensington and chelsea women’s club meeting.

april 8: sarah and i went to marylebone to see the street where rich and i are trying to buy a flat. we ate lunch at quiet revolution, the great veggie cafe in the aveda on marylebone high street.
april 6: sarah and i walked through hyde park & kensington gardens and shopped in covent garden.
april 5: my friends sarah and marion and i spent the day in london, visiting the british museum, notting hill and camden lock. sarah and i stayed in london and went to the producers.
april 2: rich and i went into london for the premiere matinee of billy elliot, which was fantastic.
march 11: i spent the day in london with my finnish brother risto and his class of 17-year-old students. we walked from the british museum to st paul’s cathedral, then across the millennium bridge. we went to the london dungeon (something i don’t think i enjoyed as much as the teens did) and the tower of london. i went to dinner in the evening with a fellow ku alum.
february 24: i went into london for a doctor’s appointment but had a fun afternoon shopping in liberty.
february 22: amy and i went to the national portrait gallery. it is truly amazing—it has now topped my list of favourite places in london. the best were the tudor rooms.
