How I did it: I have done this twice now!
The first time was for my prom back in 2003 but this turned into a nightmare!! My dress strap broke in the limo so I spend the whole time trying to fix the strap instead of enjoying the ride! I mean that is possibly one of the worst things that could happen to a girl on her prom night right??

The second was on my 18th birthday in 2005 and I looooved it!! My Dad got it for me as my birthday present! The limo was late picking us up, so we were all a bit tipsy by the time they came! The limo driver was lovely though and stopped off at a shop to buy us an extra bottle of bubbly for being late! It wa sooo much fun! We had the music blasting and had a fab time dancing about like idiots! I bet the poor limo driver regreted that second bottle of bubbly! We didn't exactly arrive anywhere posh though - only Yates - probably the cheapest bar in my town! We must have looked like crazy people!

I think once you have been in a limo - you have been in a limo! There is nothing different about it the second, thirs or twentieth time, so not sure I would bother again! I would like to ride in one of those fire trucks or something though! It is insanely tacky but I bet it's fun!!

Lessons & tips:

  1. Play the music...loud
  2. Arrive somewhere classy - not the cheapest bar in town
  3. Hope your limo driver is late so you get a free bottle of bubbly...free alcohol always improves your night! haha!
