Make this "work thing" work for me

I have just been given another reason to trust my instinct that I won’t be getting this job that I want so badly. My heart feels incredibly heavy right now.

I’m not happy with it. I’ve recently learned that, due to a reorganization in my department, my position will be terminated. And this is a pretty good thing for someone who is not happy with her job. I can’t help but feel that I am in the right company and the right department, just the wrong job. And thankfully, this reorg has meant new positions being created in the department – great for me! But then I have this sinking feeling that I won’t get any of these jobs. With all the backstabbing that goes on here, I have a strong suspician that my career at this company is coming to a rapid end. It sucks.
