It’s hard for me to socialize in person…to top it off I can’t really socialize online. . I really want a good online friend. I want someone I can talk to about anything….an actual friend, just online haha.
I also want to meet that person someday after….years and years of just chatting and emailing.
:) That’d be fun.

Unexpected

I met her in a chatroom back in early 2003. I think we were arguing over something idiotic (like what the best band was or something) but we became very good friends. We’re thousands of miles apart and so our only means of communication are Email and Instant Messaging, but we speak at least four times a week. We haven’t met (and don’t really intend to) but it’s an awesome friendship nonetheless. I’m grateful.
Got more than I bargained for . . .

A group of people that I played online games with decided to meet in my hometown. I went to pick one of the guys up at the airport and he told me later that when he came down the ramp and saw me, he decided then and there that he was going to marry me. We’ve been married for 6 months today =)
Incidentally, I’m still friends with one other person we met that week too. Hurray for the the internet!
